Kaylee Morlan (they/she) is a public historian and archivist based in Chicago, Illinois. They hold a B.A. in History from the University of Minnesota and an M.A. in Public History from Loyola University Chicago and are currently pursuing an MLIS from Dominican University. Her practice centers on accessibility in libraries, archives, and museums. As a FOCAS intern, Kaylee works with Bethel West, a Lutheran congregation on Chicago’s West Side, to develop a church archive. Along with creating a collection inventory, they are collaborating with the Bethel Records Committee to digitize and make publicly available selected archival materials.
