VIVO Media Arts Centre (est.1973) is a non-profit, artist-run centre operating in Vancouver, Canada, on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. VIVO supports and preserves experimental, non-commercial, emergent, collaborative, non-normative, generational, and community-driven practices. Our Crista Dahl Media Library and Archive stewards a significant repository of international analog and born-digital media produced by artists, activists, and independents. Along with supporting print materials, technologies, and ephemera, our collections reflect the complex network of communities and histories that have informed video and media art since the late 1960s.
