These nine institutions make up the FOCAS collective. Each is committed to working in and with community archives partners to place graduate student interns while also attending to expand their LIS and archival studies curriculum to include relevant and contemporary community archives scholarship and practice-based sections and exercises. Together, the FOCAS collective will be developing classroom and community resources to best support community archives and community archives education in myriad ways.
