Juliet is a PhD student in the University of Arizona History department, where they research environmental history, focusing on the longue durée and life cycles of the Sonoran Desert, following geological shifts, watersheds, and plant/animal migrations. Juliet approaches their research on both sides of the borderlands of Arizona with the lens of examining the More-Than-Human. They are interested in natural archives, such as seed archives, packrat midden storage, tree-ring labs, organic archaeological storage, and so on. Juliet is passionate about public history, community engagement, and producing knowledge and systems that work for the community.
