Anthony “TJ” Moaton is a Master of Library and Information Science candidate at Dominican University, with a concentration in Archives and Cultural Heritage. Prior to Dominican, TJ was a journalist for an NPR-affiliate station in Connecticut, studied clowning and experimental theatre in Philadelphia through the Pig Iron School of Advanced Performance Training, and worked for CVS Health as a User Experience Researcher, among other adventures. TJ is grateful to be attending Dominican University, having grown up in nearby Oak Park, IL. TJ is co-president of the Dominican University chapter of SAA, and is currently working at the West Town Museum of Cultural History as an Archival and Curatorial Assistant through the FOCAS internship, which has facilitated powerful discoveries about the histories of the western suburbs of Chicago.
